Great question. I can understand that as a consumer you want to get the best quality at the best price, however if you choose to buy international there are "gotcha's" that you didn't expect! These experiences can lead to frustrations that you didn't need to have. Frustrations such as
1. Do you know the ice shaver is to Australian electrical standards? 2. Are warranty issues handled locally and downtime options available?
3. Hidden extra cost from foreign currency exchange plus duty plus GST plus importation handling costs (fees, port cost, document cost etc)
4. Delay in delivery due to double handling and sourcing
5. Is the ice shaver really at a commercial standard.
As the Australian distriubtor for Hawaian Snow, Swan, Hatsuyuki & Fujimarca you don't have any of those concerns as I am based in Australia with the manufacturers warranty, support, service/parts and I hold stock.
